In Memory of Flo
Flo Art Studio is family run small business. However, our name does not actually stem from our style of art, but rather in honor of the love of our life and the heart of our family, Flo. On an extended vacation out of the country years ago, we met Flo while donating supplies to a local shelter. We found her off a dirt road in the mountains. Flo popped her head over the fence and began licking our special needs daughter’s face lovingly, and in that moment she captured our hearts. Flo came home to the States with us and we gratefully had 8 years of pure love and happiness with her before she passed, Christmas Eve 2021. When we decided to formalize our business in January, we could think of no better name than Flo.
Meet the Artist.
Meet Maria, the artist and designer behind our products. After dedicating years to math, she decided to find her way back to her earliest passion, art. Finding a love in fluid art, she began playing with new ideas on canvas, glass, and more. Today she remains active and works tirelessly in both her loves, math and art.
